Omaha has a unique set of challenges that requires us to think ahead in order to meet those challenges. We are surrounded by pristine beach and estuary, inhabited by endangered species and pests alike, and have high quality recreational and leisure facilities that require upkeep.

The OBC wants to engage the wider community to draw up a strategy that will allow us as a community to focus on what is really important. As a starting point, we are interested in the concept of safety – safety on the roads and footpaths, safety on the beach and harbour, and safety for kids and our endangered species. We will be interested to hear your views at the upcoming annual planning forum to be held at the community centre on 4pm, February 11. All members are welcome to attend.
