On 27th May 2019, Auckland Council issued the update below, via email.
You may care to read through the Hearing Report itself. This is the report that the Hearing Panel based its deliberations on.
Links to the reports are contained in the Council update below.
Although the deliberations by the Hearing Panel were ‘public’, no members of the public were able to speak.
The summaries regarding the 3 proposed restricted freedom camping sites in Omaha can be found on pages 272 – 277.
Whilst they have noted (in this version of the Hearing Report) the OBC’s survey results on the 2nd page relating to each of the sites, the Council staff did not show them in the pie chart, on the first page, relating to each of the sites, which showed the views expressed from the consultation process – excluding the OBC survey results!
