It’s been great to see the Police actively monitoring the speed on the causeway in recent months and, after a fair bit of lobbying over recent years, we’re very pleased to see this announcement from Auckland Transport:

Auckland Transport is improving safety on Broadlands Drive, Omaha. We are planning to install a driver feedback sign on Broadlands Drive. This is a sign that lights up to display the speed the driver is travelling at.
When we expect to start work
We anticipate this sign will be installed during February to March 2023.
