There are some great local spots in Omaha and surrounds. The bar is popular, and easy to spot other surfers when the surf is cranking, and Daniels Reef in Leigh is also popular. Tawharanui also offers plenty of good spots – just a short drive away, or if you are really fit, a decent paddle! For a longer drive, head up to Pakiri Beach, which can also be amazing on the right day.
